Instructions

For the most part, this game plays like regular Minesweeper but from an isometric perspective. Cool, huh?

The only real difference is, this version is a little more "casual" because of gifts.

What are gifts?

Glad you asked. By default, beginner has 2 gifts and intermediate has 8 (because you have more cells and mines to contend with).

Upon interacting with a gift, your next move will ALWAYS be safe. So if you have a gift (powerup) active and click on a mine, it will flag that mine for you instead of blowing it up.

Gifts automatically replenish after 3 consecutive successful moves. This doesn't count moves with a powerup active! You do actually have to do some work yourself.

Keybinds

Minesweeper 3D has some limited options:

[Mouse/Left click]: Reveal a cell.

[Mouse/Right click]: Flag or Unflag a cell.

[M]: Toggle music on/off. I worked hard on it, but if you want to mute it, then fine. No no, don't feel bad. Okay, maybe a little.

[B]: Change the background image if you want to look at something fresh

[R]: Creates a whole new board. Use this when you hit a mine or finish a level. It won't work during the victory music. Yeah, I'm going to make you listen to that all the way through. Don't worry, it's not long.

[1]: Change to beginner mode (10x10 grid, 10 mines, 2 gifts)

[2]: Change to intermediate mode (16x16 grid, 40 mines, 8 gifts)
